Adam F. C. Fletcher, Executive Director
As the Founding Director of Freechild, Adam has worked with more than 500 organizations around the world to build youth engagement. An internationally-recognized thought leader, he has spoke at hundreds of conferences, written dozens of publications and worked directly with 1,000,000 youth and adults in more than a 1,000 communities.
Lauri Valenta, Operations Director
Lauri Valenta, CMP, SSBBP is seasoned organizational leader who has also worked with youth and adults in a variety of settings. As an organizational improvement professional, she has more than 15 years experience coaching people, facilitating dynamic trainings, and helping improve the work and engagement of people everyday.
Theresa Kimball, Education Director
As an education advocate serving low-income students and youth of color, Theresa has a variety of education experience. She has worked for several community colleges in student support services, as well as as a program director for a campus diversity center, apprenticeship program, a tech prep program, and various workforce development programs. Recently a College Bound officer for 8 counties, she is passionate about education justice and economic justice built on every child being at-risk for doing well economically.
Bobby Williams, Community Trainer
Bobby is a rapper and the director of a non-profit organization called The Bridge Music Project. After touring across the country and sharing the stage with Dead Prez, Lyrics Born and Blackalicious, among others, Bobby has become known for his unique perspective, wit and stage presence. He’s a widely sought-after community educator, too, who uses practical experience and meaningful methods to teach young people the power of self-expression and social change.
